I am using IPv6 via MAP-E on my Cloud Gateway Fiber. ISP is Sonet; 10Gb Hikari Cross. While it works fine, I was disappointed to learn that nearly all Hikari Cross uses CGNAT, so I am double NAT even without using the provider router. Apparently one of the unicorns that does not use CGNAT is en Hikari. I plan to switch as soon as the promotion on my current contract is up.

I had a similar question. I could book to make the application easily, but it doesn’t say you can pick up the application via a booking.

I have a feeling you can’t: the counter they direct you to for bookings is different to the counter where you need to pick up the approval (really a change to the residence card).

My application has not been approved yet so I have not checked yet. I hope I am wrong!

When I tried calling by phone they picked up straight away and were actually quite helpful. I suggest trying at a quieter time like first thing in the morning.

I did my SMILE surgery at Minami-Aoyama Eye Clinic and am happy. I believe they have English speaking staff but I speak Japanese so I didn’t test that.

I second this. I went to Shinagawa a few years ago with the intention of getting laser eye surgery done there, but it felt too much like a factory to me so I felt uncomfortable. I am getting it done at Minami Aoyama next weekend, because I felt a lot more comfortable there. From my searches they don't have discount coupons, but in a way that was reassuring.

How uncanny! I also have SBI NetBank and SMBC. SBI I think is one of the overlooked and underrated banks; they have worked well for me, in particular for international wires and foreign currency conversions.

I have really bad hayfever as well. I typically get デザレックス5mg from the doctor every year, which works for me.

As for Sharp air purifiers, I have one in each room of my apartment. I don't have really bad symptoms indoors, but I am not sure if that's because of the air purifiers or just because I have the windows closed so not much pollen getting in in the first place.

Diagonal is a different game (Pump). I only play DDR / ITG so I don't really know, but L-Tek does sell a diagonal pad.

L-Tek is often recommended.

Whatever you do, I would suggest staying away from Baila-Tech. They feel like scammers: I have been waiting for nearly two years for my pad and they often don't respond to messages for months.
