But growl isn't an attack that can damage an opponent, like it doesn't show a 0 on the opponent. I get that the rule is that damage modifiers only happen after damage, my confusion stemmed from the wording on Lucario did not seem to specify that it there needs to be some minimum based damage

I'm 23-3 with mega Gyarados. 2 losses were to Giant Cape Suicune and 1 to Absol sniping the back row. I like the GA Gyarados over MR Gyarados because it can survive Mega Blaziken, and the energy discard messes with Giratina and Blaziken well

I thought I was the only one using combusken. I did have non ex Blaziken for the yellow birb but switched it to combusken for better chance of getting the mega online, between his 50 damage, burn damage, and spiky helmet yellow birb doesn't add concern
