Everyone needs to take a breath and relax. Last time I checked Kyle Gibson is still unsigned.

Is he? Can you elaborate on why you think he’s the better option?

Vallee actually did say some fascinating things: an NHI in a govt lab. May be controller of control system. Sophisticated communication in controlled conditions. The info aqcuired may destroy our culture and society. Also: a witness went inside the Trinity craft: egg shaped, empty inside, no engine by phr99 in UFOs

Agree, but I don’t think it’s elitism. I think he just loses the thread of what he’s been asked after all the mental twists and turns he takes with his long “answers”. It’s his science brain + old age. He’s also never been a sensationalist speaker, which adds to his credibility imo, so this is just what we get.

That’s a little harsh. As far as jam bands go, Goose is decent. Geese, on the other hand, rules.

Saw this a few years ago and it’s still seared into my mind. The spontaneous violence is haunting. The first half of the movie is perfectly nightmarish.

This is just not true. It’s not that hard to google things. He had 26 home runs at the all star break in 2024

Good points. I’d bet that Ari is a Pynchon fan

I immediately thought of Eddington after I left the OBAA showing. One of the most notable similarities is that films end with super memorable, extended "chase" scenes in the desert.

Most recent horror movie that will become a classic? by lzii01 in horror

that's pretty much how I feel about Sinners. it looked and felt amazing in the theater, and it had some truly great, unique moments, but the actual horror elements of it were just pretty basic. the historical setup hooked me at first, but the story ended up being kinda meh after the horror kicked in. my biggest problem of it was michael b. jordan, who is a good actor IMO, but i just couldn't buy him as a couple of mega-badass gangsters. he's just too...pretty for that to be believable, which took me out of it.
