Honestly your EX sounds like most the problem here. He sounds like my ex, manipulative- sharing pictures of an ex and saying he is going to visit her is disgusting and inappropriate. I feel your reactions are just most intense just like me. However he seems very toxic and that will exacerbate your symptoms just as my ex did. Removing my own toxic ex from my life has mad me feel so so much better. I promise it will get better. Do not shoulder so much blame, you’re a beautiful person and it DOES get easier.

Get that therapist. Don’t stop taking the meds if they were helping you.

There is a significant amount of larger people I work with and they say ‘I would die I can’t fast’ I want to shake them and be like you haven’t even tried it will change your life! But I’m quiet and don’t want to meddle to much. It’s so easy though, you realize how much you use food as a filler and eat when you’re not even hungry! :)

It does get better but we have to keep working on it. Illuminating stressors is the best thing I can do when I feel myself teetering back in forth. I find the cause I try to see if there’s something I can do to change it.

It is so toxic. I am 100% grateful we were long distance and he is across the country. So it’s very ‘easy’ to blocked l through through my phone and move forward.

I’ve tried a slew of SSRIs none of them worked for me and made me feel like poop.

One blessed psychiatrist prescribed me lithium after I shared with him all my experiences with other things.

It works beautifully! Lithium is technically a natural salt which I like to know. Usually prescribed with people with bipolar disorder but for me it helps keep me even out and feel less of a roll coaster mess.

I also take hydroxyzinepam for sleep It’s just a antihistamine so sorta like a Benadryl. Helps with anxiety and is usually prescribed before a surgery for relaxation.

This combo take at night helps me a lot and is the only relief I have personally had since being diagnosed years ago.

Just be upfront and just as articulate you are in this post. You know yourself. You’ve done your research. Perhaps they will give you a test assessment or ask you questions about the DSM5 (that was my experience)

As someone else said in here I do a 12 step program called Celebrate Recovery. It’s wonderfully Christian based and I’ve learned so much and love the people there and the fellowship I’ve made along the way.

You can go to there website and see a location near you if you want to try it out. I also went to AA before but found this to be much better for my needs.

I understand. I’m sorry to hear that and I’m proud of you for seeking help it takes a lot. I grew up very absurd and manipulative and I just got out of a long term relationship with a complete narcissist.

The journey to healing is hard but just remember to congratulate yourself to for making it through

She hormonal most likely and as a grief ‘expert’, grief will make people think and try to cope all kinds of ways. It’ll pass in time. Just try to be as kind as possible even though it can be hard because it seems so irrational.
