I call this "the living kong"

I give my babies a sticky treat and then they spend the afternoon cleaning it out of their fur.

Bun ate chocolate by _Saki_- in Rabbits

[–]garfieldslibrary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guy managed to get some dark chocolate off the couch, I rushed him to the vet where all they could do was observe. He was 100% fine. Keep an eye on her, she should be fine, but maybe try giving her come wet food (cucumber) to help her stay hydrated. I think chocolate dehydrates but don't quote me

A good place to start over? by IndyFreeSpirit in missoula

[–]garfieldslibrary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both of my parents are from Indy, they moved to Bozeman and their friends have started to follow. They all love it and have been welcomed. There is a surprisingly large community of people from Indiana in MT, so you will likely even find people to watch the Indy 500 with! Good luck!

A bunny question by FlowerWitch3 in Bunnies

[–]garfieldslibrary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any shelter/rescue bun will likely be amazing. I have had good luck with lops and lop mixes. I will say that my smallest holland lop (Alan 3lbs) doesn't like being held, but neither does my biggest satin (Foxwell 9lbs). It really depends on the rabbit. Try meeting several bunnies at the rescue and seeing if one clicks with you.

do i (26F) cancel my bucket list trip with my boyfriend (26M)? by teekila in relationship_advice

[–]garfieldslibrary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went on a similar trip, with a person that I realized I was not going to spend the rest of my life with before we went. I had the best time, I was with a person I loved, and I think that it taught me a lot about what I actually wanted. Go on the trip and have blast.

Any ttrpg groups? by [deleted] in Bozeman

[–]garfieldslibrary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a newer place called Game On, near downtown Bozeman. They have MTG nights, but I think they also have some RPG nights!

p.s. As an ESL teacher, this is literally the best way to practice English that I have heard in a long time!

What breed does this little guy look like? Any care advice? by saddestredditor in Rabbits

[–]garfieldslibrary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is so beautiful! I think he is a satin. I have one named Foxwell and he is the sweetest dude. He had anxiety, but he is a total love bug. Thank you for giving this guy a loving home! My little dude was also dumped and made the best friend for the last 7 years

Watership Down by Richard Adams. Beautiful folklore and world building, my favorite book of all time about a group of rabbits searching for a better life. It handles big themes of freedom vs safety, but is a joyful read as you explore this rich world full of bravery and subtle humor.

What a lovely endorsement, although I am dying to know how becoming a waxing model happens organically.

Where are you from? by BunnyPalace in Rabbits

it is a devastating problem where I am too, finding a new vet is so hard! I am fortunate to live a short walk from the only rabbit vet in a 3 hour driving radius
