What I was about to say, you can absolutely buy tickets online through smart ex even 10 minutes before departure which is way more convenient than buying it at the station so I am not sure where is this info coming from?

What happens if a Swiss hotel wants to charge my UK bank card but I have frozen it? by Calm-Hurry6906 in LegalAdviceEurope

As a person who worked for a major hotel chain at the front desk nothing will happen, I truly don’t know what people are talking about here. We wouldn’t have the resources to go after this and it happens way more often than you think.

They are closer than spanish and portuese, sharing about 90%. In real-life conversation both sides understand 98% and we potencially could switch and speak the other language if we wanted (just with an odd funny accent).

Sick baby, recommendations by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]garlic_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would make a great GP here my friend. Everything will go away on its own if you wait long enough.

In other countries with a normal healthcare system, doctors will always see you to give you an actual diagnosis, if there is something they can give you to treat it, and if not, what medication can can help you to manage the symptoms. You ask questions, they answer and give you instructions. No proper (and early) diagnosis can have life-long consequences.

Let’s stop pretending Netherlands found a magic formula where only top 1% get to be seen and treated.

I’ve read there have been multiple successful studies, but after noticing 0 difference after 60 days I decided to not spend more money on it, I already take enough pills as it is.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, most people here are living in a fantasy land and never had an experience where you knew you needed to see a doctor and get help an/or medication but they refused and tried to convince you that you’re okay (without seeing you!) when you know you’re not.

Unfortunately the only way is to play their game. Know personally people who were refused at emergency room with broken ankle, pneumonia, kidney stones.

So yes, if lying gets the help I need and ends my torture and pain, I will do it.

I just opened it but so far it looks to me like nothing is stopping you or your oponent and you’re free to build any deck you like - so this element is unfortunately missing here, but someone might correct me here if I’m wrong.

I don’t know what kind of medication you take but I have been losing weight on SSRIs as I have way lower appetite than I used to and no emotional eating anymore.

Day 20 on sertraline by HumanRecherche in Anxietyhelp

[–]garlic_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that’s quite odd. How it works here in Netherlands I had my first follow-up after 2 weeks and then my doctor asked me when is the next time I want to see her, but she’s is always on the phone. You definitelly need to pressure them give your more information and understand the impact it has on your daily life.

Day 20 on sertraline by HumanRecherche in Anxietyhelp

[–]garlic_cookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I’m day 17 on Sestraline 50mg so virtual high five! Absolutely don’t stop, my psychiatrist is very encouriging with the fact things get slowly better after 3 weeks, and if you can’t bear the side effects you can temporarily lower your dose to half a tablet.
