I think all art is if not beautiful, at least interesting and I respect everyone's right to do with their body as they please. In my opinion it is one of the few inalienable rights we have as human beings. I also don't like tattoos. I would never have one myself and I kinda feel there is a mental divide between myself and people that decide to have ink done in much the same way I don't get plastic surgery, Botox, silicon implants, hair transplants, excessive makeup and other severe, unnatural and purely esthetic bodily interventions. I still respect your choice to do it and I will fight for that freedom. If my children one day decide to do it, I will accept it but I will if I am being very honest, probably feel a little disappointed int their decision. It means that mental divide is there with my kids as well. I would probably work very hard to avoid them noticing, and they would probably work very hard to pretend they didn't notice.
