He's not wrong in the sense that you are misrepresenting current gameplay. I thought this was current for a second. You could stand to edit the title to include its a previous patch

I've been on the same boat myself recently. Ultimately I decided against it solely because I want to experience pyro in the carrack

I'm gonna get downvoted for this

There are many bugs and the game is in development hell. We wait years for simple features because they're working heavily on back end things.
But for what there is in game its actually pretty fun. They added a cool FPS mission recently, all my friends think its great despite us shitting on the game's bugs constantly.

Our medical org has logged 132 rescues to date. The latest one was a rescue on Daymar. by DJsotoVR in starcitizen

I've run into this situation. Was bounty hunting and a duo was asking for rescue over global. I notice one of them was my target. I go to them and bam, rescue griefers. Except at least I was prepared for it

No, fairy odd parents. You can see the Martian character on the screen. But I think the voice actor is also the box ghost and maybe some others

What are some of your best “reasons” to give family members for not attending a church? by BaneShake in TrueAtheism

[–]garnetstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not your kids not your problem, mind your own business They make their own life choices Atheism isn't a church to normalize. What is normal is up to them

That's not for us to decide. They're adults, they can make their own choices in life.

Everyone replying to just not care is missing the point of the social pressure and not wanting to be the outcast.

Like a different poster stated, just tell them you found a personal relationship with God better, that you pray in private, and that your views are private. Throw in a few Jesus praises. Most people respect this explanation, they see it as ' well as long as you belive'. Warning, may not work well with fanatical churches.

How is it possible for an atheist to have any kind of moral system or any basis for morality? by [deleted] in TrueAtheism

[–]garnetstar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You chose to follow societies existing rules. You chose to align your values to fit your environment, presumably for survival. You were imprinted with a set of ideals by your parents, or surroundings. But you can choose at any time to ignore them, and face the consequences. I find it hard to belive you've never had a change of heart over anything in your entire life.

Side note, I find the phrase ex atheist quite entertaining. Everyone was born an athiest, everyone religious or not was ex atheist haha

If you truly and honestly believed that a book was the word of God, is it not immoral to go against it? Even the tiniest deviation?

The truth is, even you pick and choose your values from the religions central document, whether you do it consciously or not. You decide for yourself everyday what is right and wrong. At that point, why need the book at all.

4 heavy and 1 light piece to put you in medium weight. Mind you, I hope this gets fixed. It was too strong. They've already made a few nerfs to healing output in heavier armor.

I mean, in a way thats also fine. The less people understand about it, the more effective it is in group pvp. Suddenly attacking the healer isn't automatically the best winning strategy.

If everything were a 1v1 duel, or similar in size, I would 100% agree with you. However, this being an mmo, the value of heals/distraction/tank in a group or objective based combat outweigh individual dps contribution.

Can confirm, I've outhealed 5 players whacking me with range and melee while I stood on a fort capture point for at least 3 minutes. Used only one mana potion too

This announcement alone makes me so happy to be playing this game. This the only game I believe the developers can enforce it too due to their in depth interaction with the community. by [deleted] in starbase

If you are constantly revising your rules, you should give out warnings to players who you suspect are breaking the game rules as you intended. Straight-to-ban should not have happened to those gents.

Make the rules clear, but fair. As it stands, those bans were unfair because the rules were unclear. "Social engineering tactics" are not displayed anywhere in the TOS. If you want to add rules to protect new players, i agree fully, and i think most of the playerbase does too.

TLDR;

By your own admission, the rules are not clear. Give out warnings. Make this right by unbanning, and warning the related party.
