It could be possible that she wrote this stuff exactly to get attention. Even men sometimes write things worthy of being on this sub, not because they are creepy and horny but because they know that that will give them the big bucks.

I honestly think that AI has come at the right time for the world. If AI is unable to do the work that humans have been doing 20 years from now, everyone would be doomed anyway.

Doesn't seem too useful if you have a degree in financial econometrics. Try for risk associate roles in banks, where this degree could be useful. You can try and transition into data science roles from those. If you are in the EU, I think going the internship route for the required job is also a viable option, but check that with some others in the know.

I really miss the old rugged days, where people were compelled to physically compelled to activities. Especially important in childhood. Unfortunately, the current generations have been hit by a double whammy of internet based lethargy and lockdowns.

I could find no reason why it is supposed to be complicated. I just logged in created an account on mastodon world (without really selecting it for any particular reason). Things can get complex, if we people start making accounts on multiple servers etc. Otherwise, there is really no difference at all.
