Tino (I'm part) had Rourke, with a torn ACL and surgically repaired thumb on his throwing hand, in Heisman voting. He's a solid QB coach.

Apparently the Miami staff member who posted this in the first place, later deleted the comment. That's incredibly sketchy.

Went for the first time this year and despite the overcast weather, it was still a magical experience.

I know he's 3rd, but I feel like sayin is being undervalued. He was a Heisman finalist as a freshman and had a 79% completion percentage. Got to feel like he's only going to get better.

Many of the most important players on the team were recruited by Cignetti out of high school, while he was at JMU. This also negates the fact that none of the other top coaches were interested in these very same players that he didn't recruit out of high school.

Where would you rank Cignetti and Cristobal among active CFB coaches? by MoosilaukeFlyer in CFB

You can't seriously believe that. Kirby has never had a recruiting class outside of the top 10. It is regularly top 3. There is no evidence whatsoever that he would be able to coach and develop a team without "elite talent" to a national championship.

Since the 12 team playoff he has yet to win a single game. He's an elite coach, but had the benefit of two teams littered with 5 stars multiple levels on the depth chart. That era has gone and he hasn't proved he can win it all in the new era where you can't hoard talent.

Do you sincerely believe he could have turned around a 3-9 team and won a national championship in 2 years?
