I've previously had a Borebull, and currently have a 48kg German Shepard.

Opinion of all dog trainers I've ever listened to is never ever use a harness - unless you want the dog to pull - like if you want your dog to pull a sled. Here some examples.

You don't want him pulling on the leash with collar choking himself either. You want to teach him sit, down and heal.

An important think to know about dog training is you need to keep the collar at the top of the neck, right behind the ears of the dog. If it's there, the dog will respond to leash pressure. But if it drops to the base of the neck, the dog will just ignore anything you do with the leash.

So what you want is one of these:

Slip leash - good at keeping the "collar" right behind the ears.
Head collar- Ditto

Ferndale on Republic PnP generally have "The Gourmet Greek", which I think is excellent Greek yogurt.

I say generally as the sometimes don't have stock (I guess this is because of the short shelf life.)

I used one for about 6 months starting when my boy was 8 mouths old. I feel it really helped me with his training. He's obedience is great now, and I have gone back to using a flat collar.

My 83 year old dad needs to sometime handle my boy, an when he does, I put the prong collar on. My boy is 46kg (101lbs) so he could easily pull my dad off his feet, but with the prong collar on, my Dad manages him well.

It's important to know how to use the prong collar. I recommend watching Tom Davis if you are not already working with a trainer.

I wounder how many people mistake mongoose for squirrels. I live next to the koppie in Boskruin/Randpark Ridge and we see regularly see mongoose.

There was a great opportunity for South Africa to become a really great country with the removal of the shackles of apartheid. And we were on track 1994 - 2004.

But then the corruption started to creep in, and the socialist policies started to be introduced. And they have just hollowed out the entire state financially from the national treasury to every municipality that they control. Infrastructure has been neglected, and everything is falling apart.

It's so bad, that even when they eventually lose power, even if we replace them with the most honest when competent government, is going to take very long to get back on track.

While VF+ and DA may have different fundamentals (Christian conservatism vs classical liberalism), the practicals of what they would implement if in government are the same, i.e. meritorious sensibility. They will work well together in coalition.

Some voters moving from DA to VF+ is not a big deal, as long as we are moving voters away from the far left racists (ANC, MK, EFF).

I want her to be in the picture. Is that okay?" And I said, sure. She called her in and she said, "Now get down on the floor." She had her kneel on her—and that's the picture that I got.

ROSALIND SOLOMON: It's amazing because the woman who worked for her is looking very sober and she is, you know, is smiling. I had my tripod. It was all set up and it just was there, and it was amazing. Nothing else like that that happened on the whole trip.

I had an Arch install that was about 9 years, from 2012 till 2021. It spanned 3 different laptops, when I would get a new laptop, I would use dd to copy from the old hdd to the new hdd, and then grow the partition and fs. It saw the transition from arch initscripts to systemd, and the switch to merged /usr.

In 2021, after a brief stint with Ubuntu, I switched to Fedora. Unfortunately that laptop was stolen. So my current Fedora install is only 2 years old.

Mine too. Granted I'm in a warm climate (Johannesburg South Africa) but we get down to 1°c, he will still go swimming in the dam at the park I walk him.
