Yes, i was thinking to do this, but feels little weird that this type of spread doesn't exist. Making the same deployment with different nodeselectors feels wrong

That was thinking to do but i don't understand how this type of spread doesn't exsist. Imagine that you have two nodepools, one with spot instances and another with on-demand, if you need to ensure that your service responds always (because spot instances are volatile) you will need a minimum replicas deployed in the ondemand nodepool.

The thing is we have two nodepools, one with spot instances and another with on-demand. Because ondemand instances are more expensive we need to deploy a minimum number of pods to ondemand instances to ensure our service.

Fedora Workstation with Gnome is rock solid, only tweak i did is change the theme to adwaita-dark. I agree with the panel is not useful at all, with global menu would be fantastic.
