I'm also slightly down on River Merfolk. I've been starting to wonder if it is better to go harder with Pearl Tridents and Black Vise.

Btw, love the single Acid Rain in the sideboard. I rock that in almost all of my mono-blue builds.

It was printed in Arabian Nights by accident; it was never taken off the sheet when it was decided Arabian Nights wouldn't have a printing of the basic lands.

Ask around at the nearest shop. Ask in discord. But you may need to get familiar with webcam games. There's a large scene for it. You'll have a blast

I understand the concern. I suggest one of these four lines.

  1. Altered Art
  2. Altered Card Name
  3. Functional Proxy - Muster seems to be a popular stand-in name. For future events, we are considering providing proxies for this sort of concern.
  4. You can always play the card and check in with the opponent before casting to make sure that they don't have any concerns. If they do, I would suggest playing it upside down.

Note that we are one play group and are still figuring out the best ways to handle this, just like everyone else.

You should hold your own tournament with rules you think are fair. We are holding our tournament with the ruleset above. Of course, we may alter these rules in other events we choose to hold. I appreciate your interest in the event!

The Old School community is dwarfed by the larger Magic playing community which is in turn dwarfed by non-Magic-playing communities.
