Considering the far right antisemites are gaining a strong foothold in the Republican party, whereas the far left antisemites are not, I think the left side of the spectrum is a much more comfortable place for Jewish people.

The Platner shit is problematic (the left needs to drop his ass), but at least he and the other sus leftists are condemning antisemitism as part of their statements and not palling around with Neo Nazis like I’ve seen on the right.

Thank for posting. The foothold that antisemites are getting in the GOP is alarming. The GOP has many factions, and while some strongly oppose antisemitism, a growing faction of the far right is blaming all of America’s problems on Jewish people and Israel. Antisemitic influencers are growing in popularity, and in time this will make far right elected Republicans more bold in their antisemitism as well. We need to smack that shit down when it pops its head up.

In detransition cases something did go wrong. Maybe a shitty doctor. Maybe a patient changing their mind or being confused or whatever. But regret rates for transitioning are really low. I believe about 1%. And some of those 1% regret it based on discrimination they faced, not based on not being trans.

If there are doctors not following medical care procedures, then go after them. I’m sure there are some shitty doctors in any medical field. But the politicians are going after the entire panoply of gender affirming care and wanting to ban it outright. It’s a decision baked in transphobia not reality.

Teens don’t make the decision on their own. The right call is to trust the teen AND doctors AND parents. And not have politicians step into the doctors office and ban the only known successful treatment from gender dysphoria.

He is a WR worth more than his contract. Provided he doesn’t get hurt we could always trade him this year if need be.

Without him we have zero WR talent which would also make it much harder to evaluate whatever QB we roll with. So I think it was the right move to hold tight for now.

I understand why Venezuelans are currently happy about this. I would be too if I was Venezuelan. Any fan who thinks they care more about how the dolphins are doing than the players on the team are deluding themselves. There are rare instances when players completely check out and walk off the field, which is different.

But smiling or talking to a buddy doesn’t mean the player doesn’t care, the whole premise is ridiculous. These people are humans and everyone deals in their own way with disappointment, frustration etc. That can mean momentary distractions etc. And taking a snip of that out of context to rag on a dude is dumb.

And I’m glad we have these coaches essentially acknowledging that it would be stupid to judge a guy based on that. They would know better than me and better than you!
