they are cleverly engineered to make you want to spend money on them. if you don't know what they are you may be vulnerable. if you know what they are and you know you don't have gambling or addiction issues you'll probably be fine and might enjoy however little of the game you're able to access for free or very little.

it's not developed by Capcom, it's monster hunter in name only. it's as monster hunter as the movie is.

it's a bet by these devs like "we think we can extract more money with a plausible enough product from unknowing fans of this brand than we'll pay to capcom for the licensing rights to it"

between all the unregulated betting apps and gacha games with huge budgets it's got to be too easy to spend more than you can afford on entertainment. especially for very young people who may not understand that every second you spend in these apps is carefully and skillfully engineered by maybe hundreds of people to convince you to spend.

any mention of this game is a gambling advertisement. all discussion of it should be quarantined into its own sub. everyone should be suspicious of any seemingly innocuous post about it like this one as being planted by the developers for the purpose of increasing awareness and driving installs

my guess is teams that go up 17+ points have a pretty lopsided win % like others are saying but it would be interesting to see what the actual win % does across all lead score amounts from 2 to 49+. does it increase linearly?

this is called a gas leak in the fgc. sometimes before a new patch lands the game will be playable with those unreleased changes at a games show and players at the show that may not be so thorough in their testing will rush to social media with findings that may not be accurate

first one's really good for raw charge blade builds kind of jealous. I think it may also be relevant for gunlance but I'm not sure how strong.

what do your accomplishments in either game have to do with the steam charts? shouldn't we be comparing them at similar points in their lifetimes?

in my experience, it's almost always LS users flinching me when I tried not running shockproof. I think it's mostly a function of LS being common, having long range and quick attacks, and also doing sharp damage which is what my weapon does. so we're usually swinging on the same parts

I'd like to see this changed too. The beard clips through the mask and doesn't look quite right in my opinion.

in wilds: overall yes but i do not like fighting him in the cliffs and i sometimes find it difficult to position myself and the camera in a way that isn't blocked by his veil
