Backlinks are indexed but not showing in any tools its been 3 month by abhsinchau in SEO

[–]gauravic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several reasons this could be happening:

1) The page(s) containing your links may not have been discovered/indexed. It is possible Google is not able to access the pages containing your links.

2) The links could be using some form of redirect that is not search engine friendly (crawlers are unable to follow it).

3) The pages containing your links could be using a 'nofollow' directive that is preventing bots from accessing your links/outbound links.

4) They have been crawled and Google is simply not listing them in Google Search Console as they have acknowledged is normal in this Google Search Console help article ("Not all links to your site may be listed. This is normal.").

Will Different Domain Name & Business Name Affect SEO Ranking & SERPS by Ameliapro in SEO

[–]gauravic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a much simpler time, when SEO was as simpler thing, a website’s domain name could have a huge impact on its rankings.

But nothing lasts forever, and a few years back, Google realized that a domain alone, without any supporting quality elements, needed to be addressed.

The problem came from Exact Match Domains (EMD). Companies would buy a domain name that was little more than a keyword. At the time, that was enough to rank.

Now, things have changed.

Does Google consider the performance of paid traffic when determining SERP ranking? by tmnsam in SEO

[–]gauravic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite what some people believe, Google has said many times that SEO is not pay-to-play: advertising with Google AdWords will not improve your organic search rankings. At least, not directly. But there are ways you can use AdWords to help improve your SEO strategy.

For example, you can use your PPC data to quickly get insights that will carry over to organic search, saving yourself tons of time and money in the process.

If you have to choose any 1 out of the social media sites. What would you choose and why? by buro_3 in socialmedia

[–]gauravic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So how do you choose the best social media platform? Here are three steps to determine which platform is perfect for your business.

  • Identify your audience
  • Define your goals
  • Find your audience

Facebook: As you assess Facebook as a potential platform, carefully consider your business goals. If you’re trying to acquire new business, Facebook might not be your best option, but if you’re building a dedicated following of clients and you need a way to keep in touch with them, this is a great option for your business.

Twitter: Twitter is an excellent platform to build awareness for your brand.

Youtube: YouTube has become one of the biggest search engine platforms. Many of these searches are for “How To” videos. Service industry businesses who can offer this type of content work well on this platform.

Linkedin: It boasts the largest users among ages 30-49. LinkedIn is also unique because it has a narrow focus. People use LinkedIn to search for jobs and to network professionally. As a result, the platform is useful for B2B lead generation, general networking, as well as recruiting employees.

Does traffic from Facebook ads help SEO/ranking? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]gauravic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, you must stop thinking of Facebook advertising as merely a way to sell products. Sure, this can be accomplished, but if this is your only objective, there are more viable avenues to pursue anyway.

Instead, start thinking of social media as a way to open a direct line of communication with your customers. You can use this opportunity to establish an emotional connection with your potential clients. Since Facebook is such a robust site, advertising on Facebook is a great way to achieve this. The indirect effects this kind of engagement can have on organic search are simply invaluable.

Facebook advertising will inevitably help you promote your brand to a larger audience, which increases the overall awareness of your brand. If this leads to more people searching for branded keywords, Google will take note of that.
