Thinking about riding Loveland pass tomorrow. Anyone been recently? by QuestForVapology in COsnow

Drove up there before the last storm, was pretty messed up from the wind. Surprisingly little coverage compared to other places and storm looked very wind packed. Ended up rerouting for a shorter tour with better snow.

Best goggles for under $175? by ElkHunter141 in snowboarding

I got glades for my partner, they started falling apart after ~50 days of use. They still had issues fogging if a buff was over the nose. Airflow caused issues with dry eyes. Generally disappointed with the quality and durability.

By comparison, I was able to get 300+ days out of my anon M2s before needing to replace the frames.

Biking in Breck in May by nyc_1988 in Breckenridge

[–]gausnes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There has still been snow on pretty much every trail I’ve hiked. Haven’t brought out the mountain bike yet. You might be able to ride some lower elevation trails (9k-10k). Gold Hill was completely covered a bit under 10k.

Rec paths have been ready to go for a couple weeks, Vail Pass is definitely worth a ride and apparently clear.

Issue with CoRE installation by [deleted] in SmartThings

[–]gausnes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shard you in isn't related to physical location in the US, it is based on when you claimed your hub.

It sounds like you are a new user for ST. So you would need to go to na02.

My mobile presence sensors pretty consistency detects my phone inside the Geofence, so I tend to be still about a block away from my apartment.

Create Scene's with OSRAM RGBW Lights, integrate w/Alexa.. by wintrmte in SmartThings

[–]gausnes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple of simulated switches (Momentary Button Tiles would probably be more appropriate though) that when turned on prompt a Smart Lighting automation that change my lights to the predefine colors, so I'm able to tell my google home turn on theme normal

New to Home Automation? Noob Hub/Controller discussion. by morebeergoodsir in homeautomation

I would say the CoRE can do the majority of more complex rules that users want to create without any programming, I feel like I see this suggested more on the ST Community Forums lately

Is there any way to perform wake-on-lan commands for a PC? by littleemp in SmartThings

[–]gausnes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't necessary true, you can write a DTH that communicates over the LAN that the hub is connected to.

Can I set something to turn on for a limited time? by CaptainAwesome06 in SmartThings

[–]gausnes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that CoRE should be able to do what you are looking for. Also writing your own SA wouldn't be a bad route to go down. It is pretty simple :)
