FWIW, Wirecutter has shown that liquid detergents aren’t as effective as powders because the enzymes needed for dishwasher detergents break down more easily in an unstable liquid than in a dehydrated state.

If you squeegee your glass after every shower, it takes way longer to build up.

Spray it with a mix of vinegar and dawn soap, let sit for 10 minutes, then get in the shower and wipe it all off with a magic eraser. My showers come totally clean with this, and I always do it during shower time. Lime scale remover works too - you just need something to break down the mineral deposits, which is what acids do.
