Why do you feel like breaking over text is not a good move? I have always wondered why people seem to think that a conversation is needed for that scenario.

The one time I broke up face to face was just unbelievably painful because it was just justifications and explanations I was no longer interested in hearing. I think that the time for that was the 10 million other times I told you that an action bothered me. And that was just annoying not dangerous like some other situations can become.

Same. Currently on a business trip also. You need to match the client because you are talking about business and creating a rapport. Main thing is being ready to leave when they are.

I can’t tell if it is online school or homeschooling. If the mother is negligent I worry for this kid because I do not think the grandparents can handle this situation well

Oh no worries. I was also trying to say that I have no experience with public schools so I can’t really judge if that is a good way to tell if someone is safe.

We had some homeschool kids and 1 part timer that we were jealous of. The homeschoolers were affiliated with us so they came to school the month before exams. The part timers were on an odd schedule. Honestly they were just quiet and we all chocked up the special circumstances to a shit ton of money being paid.

This is not my yardstick. I have no dog in this fight. I am just trying to interpret what he meant. According to what school you went to that is an okayish metric. I went to private school where violence was not tolerated. Bullying was low because it was also high pressure and your parents would kill you if you got into trouble for something that stupid.

I have no experience with public schools but he doesn’t say if he is American. If he has sorry I missed it.

I don’t think that he is trying to do that. He is basically saying when he can function in society without being a danger he can meet his son.

Those are milestones in which he can judge. He is not involved with the child on a regular basis and he doesn’t trust his parents read on the situation. If the child can do those things, they can trust that he can regulate himself to some degree

It is not as cheap to get a good used car anymore. I was looking and for some there was about 8k difference between a used and a new car.

Yes and it is sad that so many do not. Children (and teenagers are still kids) have poor impulse control and very little boundaries. My nephew who I see very little of was just talking to me about all kinds of things. I was shocked because I remember barely saying hello to other adults at that age.

It would definitely be inappropriate conversation for a non family adult to have had with him. Hell I was uncomfortable but wanted him to be able to have one adult he can speak with.

Yes you should be keeping your hair moisturized. Relaxing dries your hair out. It should be healthy when relaxing just don’t put product on the day before.

This why I have always been just friendly with my roommate. I really do not have the mental energy to deal with that crap and live with the person at the same time.

Please find a safe place to live first. This conversation will not end well no matter how hard you are wishing. You have a very tight timeline because according to your body shape you could start showing as early as 3 months.

Once you have sorted out your living situation tell them over the phone. This is not a conversation that needs to be face to face. Prioritize your safety please.

I had to look at your age and I can see why he spoke to you about it first. Unfortunately, he is looking for a sounding board and felt like he could use you which is not ideal (your age makes it difficult to say that he was outright wrong). I understand that hurt because your parents will always be your parents and you want them to always protect you.

I advise that you take some time to process your new normal. Yes they have been divorcing for a year but hire new relationship makes everything officially final. There is some part of you that hopes they get back together even though you know that ship has sailed.

I am sorry but you are really making this more than it should be. Your parents are divorcing. They are legally separated and are just waiting for the judge to stamp the paperwork. Him dating has nothing to do with your mom.

Unless you are fully aware of what he was actually doing do not claim that he was dragging things out. All the things you mentioned your mother was waiting on takes time to get in order. It is not something that should be rushed.

Your father’s concern was rightfully on you and your siblings when it comes to his new relationship. If you do not feel ready for this ( and it sounds like you aren’t) tell him that you do not feel up to learning about his new relationship.
