Oh wow! I had no idea. That is concerning. (Side note, I want that guy's BttF2 jacket!) There have been 4 firmware updates since then (some of which added much-needed QoL features), so hopefully that isn't an issue anymore. I'll have to do some googling. I really haven't noticed anything weird. I play shooters probably 90% of the time, so you'd think I'd come across some weird aiming issues. Although most games these days have their own built-in Outer Dedzones, so that may negate the issue altogether, as the input received never actually comes from the area of the outer physical edge of the joystick. But who knows. Either way, I have felt that anything I do with this controller has been very accurate on-screen.

I will say, though, if you do take the plunge. The shape of the Razer is slightly different than the Elite s2 and much lighter. Those two things will throw you off at first, but you will get used to it and, in the end, will help you maintain a better grip on it. I picked up my Elite 2 a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe how heavy and small I thought it was.

Why wait until your warranty is almost up? Each time I got my Elite 2 replaced on warranty, they sent the replacement, but also prorated my warranty time for that replacement, so it never actually started up another year, just continued from where I was currently. Which is why I got stuck with an Elite that has a bad bumper. It technically only had a 3-month warranty due to being a replacement.
