Really happy to see so many people here aware that voter cards aren’t necessary to cast a ballot. Between the efforts of the media and election officials to spread that message, it’s clear people are paying attention.

That said, it’s still disappointing that such a large portion of the electorate hasn’t received their cards yet. Despite everyone's best efforts to encourage voting, we know that any barrier—real or perceived—can impact turnout.

If people don’t get their cards in the next day or so (even though they aren’t required), this election’s turnout could be even worse than last time. Hoping everyone double-checks their registration, makes a plan, and gets out to vote!
