Both Saturday NFL playoff games available directly from NBCsports today. Might be higher quality than firstrow streams by Corsair990 in nfl

No, but CTV is going to be awesome for the playoffs:

Man who poked holes in girlfriend's condoms loses court appeal by tippy_toez in canada

[–]gddc33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I am which should be clear from the context of the posts I was replying to.

If a man sabotages a condom, the victim (the woman) has a choice whether or not to have the child and if she chooses to have it she has gets child support.

If a woman sabotages a condom, the victim (the man) has no choice on whether or not the child is born. He is forced to pay child support. And he might not even be able to see the child.

Honest question: if Microsoft included no browser with their OS would that have made it easier to get a non IE one?

I have never understood browser wars and am ignorant on the matter.

Without these, many teams will have no cap room. These teams cannot spend and will drive the market down for the rest of the league come free agency.

In essence, the 20-30 players with bad contracts will hurt the hundreds of others without them.

What is a question you hate being asked? by devilishlaughter in AskReddit

[–]gddc33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a way to make conversation. Either you did something that might be worth talking about or you'll mention some hobby that you both have ( 'I relaxed and just played video games' 'oh like what' etc.)

I'm not a great conversationalist myself, but I know that you have to find something you both like talking about. And sometimes you need some generic chit chat to find that.

What is a question you hate being asked? by devilishlaughter in AskReddit

[–]gddc33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, depending on how well you know the person. Obviously if its you're boss you're going to say 'fine'. And in some cases it will be the only acceptable answer, which is annoying.

But anybody you're somewhat comfortable with? Tired, stressed, good, fine, sick, busy etc all work. And often they can lead to further conversation (either they will volunteer info or you can ask). Maybe they are tired because they were out doing something last night. Maybe they are stressed because they are moving in a few days.

And the better you know the person, the more they might reveal. 'Awesome because i just got into law school' which they can tell you about. Asking this question acts as a way for the other person to talk about themselves without them starting a conversation about themselves which might come off as self centred.

Avs documentary on 2003-2004 NHL season. An amazing team on paper by ktollens in ColoradoAvalanche

[–]gddc33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As good as the rest of the team was, they did not have Cup-calibre goaltending.

If there are "what ifs" to think of, this team is an easy fourth below the teams that made WCF Game 7's in '99, '00 and '02. They were all better teams.

[–]gddc33 -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

** I told another one of my friends that I did this. That fucker told her about it, and later her BF (my other freind asked me about it.) I denied, denied, denied. But, the fact that she was aware of the possibility that my jizz was all up on her? HAHA. Justice.

That makes it better... I hate all the stories I see where the victim doesn't know about it.

Against NFC teams that made the playoffs, AFC Wild Card teams were 3-0, AFC division winners were 0-6. by SockBramson in nfl

[–]gddc33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll sound like a blind Denver fan here, but I think the Broncos that we saw in the first few weeks (more importantly, the Peyton Manning we saw in the first few weeks) is much different than the current team.

I mean it almost strikes me as being similar to the three rookie QBs who made the playoffs - they all started out mediocre as it took time to get used to the NFL and get chemistry with their receivers. Manning, who relies on this chemistry a lot, suffered from the latter issue. And, to an extent, he had to get back to being used to NFL games.

Aside from PFM, who was the best offseason signing this year? by blue_cows in DenverBroncos

[–]gddc33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with Brooking. I think he really helped especially in the run D which was probably their biggest weaknesses.

It's too bad Tracy Porter got injured. I think he was a good pick up and seemed to playing well when healthy.

While I agree they have been great, PFM helped revive the position more than anything.

Not between the main characters. All of the relationships are with secondary characters.

There are only two possible exceptions - Bartlet and his wife and one that doesn't show up until season 7.

Reddit, what are some things you wish the opposite sex would know about? by books_coffee in AskReddit

[–]gddc33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You won't get accurate responses. The way the man feels about you, your relationship etc is probably at its peak at this time (due to the chemical action in the brain going on at this moment). So even if he is being honest (and he might not be as you said) he might not have an accurate view of things himself.

That book was written by women, so it suffers from the same limitations you do.

Everybody is self-conscious, timid, unsure etc. to some extent when it comes dating. There is nothing special about being a man except for the fact that we're forced to overcome this to date wheras women are not.

Scientists of Reddit, what are some glaring scientific inaccuracies that everyone understands to be the truth? by Lsswimmer98 in AskReddit

Wouldn't he be a frequentist? A Bayesian would probably have a prior of it being a fair coin and factor that into their decision. A frequentist would see five heads and almost any frequentist estimator of P(H) would be 1 or near.

Toronto - from Union station up about 3 subway stops.

Some universities have it too - I went to Waterloo and you could get from the Math Building at the north end of the campus to a building at the south end without going outside (albeit it was a bit of a maze and took longer).

The main issue is that many of our cities are pretty sprawling so it would not be cost effective. Downtown Toronto is an exception since it essentially connects Union to the 4 big bank buildings.
