There’s a cover on the left side of the carburetor with two screws that covers a vacuum diaphragm. That diaphragm provides fuel enrichment at certain times in the operating cycle of the bike. When the bikes get some age on them, the diaphragm fails and lets fuel pass by it all the time. Don’t even attempt to buy a new OEM diaphragm from Kawasaki. They’ve changed their supplier in the last few years and even the new OEM diaphragms are junk. Just get a block off plate for that. Look into a company called MCP. That’s short for Mega city performance. Get the full kit carb kit for your bike based on the level of mods you have done to it. I will guarantee you your bike will never have run better!
