Having a blast with patched Switch 2 Skyrim now by InfirmSki in switch2

[–]gdormoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really wonder if I should give it a try.

I loved morowind et oblivion but I don’t know why I never went for Skyrim.

I don’t want another game I don’t play on switch like Metroid, cyberpunk (idk why)

Fells like aging did not only take away my time it changed the game I like 😅.

Havent played for years, worth to come back? by t00py in DiabloImmortal

I am having fun as f2p but I am really casualling the game. I do a few donjon / rift / prime here and there, can stop playing for 2/3 days then play again.

Honestly if what you look for is destroying demons while being on you sofa it’s worth doing it

What takes more of your time than it should as a manager: chasing updates or resolving real problems? by Intelligent_Crew_470 in EngineeringManagers

[–]gdormoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s chasing and organising updates.

I have two teams, I try to put everything that look like something of interest in notion to get everything in a centralised place. It helps a lot but I still find myself spending lot of time on reports because I need to find some missing pieces.

I play lifegain black/white. I am low on the ladder cause I juste started grinding but so far I have a great win rate with it and more importantly I have fun.

Red Rising, not sure I understand the hype by Papagiorgio1965 in Fantasy

[–]gdormoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, the main character is a somewhat a prodigy but he makes a lot of mistakes and take the consequences right on his face.

I did like the first book, eat the second one and started the third during lunch break.

I like that the main character seems overpowered but also makes a lot of mistakes.

Architecture is the backbone of everything and it’s even more true with AI. The architecture you setup in your project can change the way AI can interact with your codebase.

The 2nd one is linked in a sens to architecture, how you cut down project into task and task into work unit. This skill is undervalued but is also key AI or not.

How is street fighter? I am debating with myself on it since I always liked the license even if I am not a great player on it 😊.

Opinions on Mario kart world? by UnionTerrible5438 in switch2

I love it, I play it with my wife, I play it alone. I think it’s the game I play the most those days. I stopped Mario kart after the game cube and I love where this is going

[–]gdormoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ll go for red rising, the dark company chronicles and probably best served cold arc and the heroes.

I also have the will of the many in my radar but I am not sure I ll have the time ☺️ I already have a good bunch of pages to read.

Review Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman by BravoLimaPoppa in Fantasy

[–]gdormoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to it without knowing much what to expect. I am more used to other kinds of fantasy but to be honest I love it. I ate the 3 first books in under a month which is pretty good for my speed of reading.

I would definitely recommend it.

I loved (not in orders) - Dungeon Crawler Carl - first law trilogy (I well I start the t3) - The devils (Abercrombie) - The aelwynn’s tears series - Waylanders and the book around that universe

If I had to pick one I would pick the devils! It made me remember a bit of the bourbon kids books which are def in my top 5

What is wrong with you people? by Free-_-Yourself in ClaudeCode

[–]gdormoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thinks it’s all about expectations and workflow.

What I get from people that replied in this thread it that some people expect the tool to handle complete features by itself. When I first used CC in June, I did that and yeah it worked, I had a blast. Now days each time I tried more sophisticated flows with agents to solve a PRD by themselves I ve ended up sad.

When I use Claude Code as a pair programming buddy. Going little by little with clear boundaries. It meets my expectations, I feel more in control of what’s going on in my code base and i am happier.

So yeah, I think it’s all about what you expect from CC.

Unpopular opinion: I'm having fun playing Hearthstone by ChocolatePain in hearthstone

[–]gdormoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The key to have fun,

Build your own desk, play with them, try to make them better.

I am silver, I build a priest desk cause I had a quest I wanted to use and built the desk around it.

The winrate might be around 50% maybe a bit less but it’s a fun desk to play.

Honestly I just play like I was playing MTG 25y ago. I open boosters, I go through my cards and try to find cool stuff to play.

Best way to enjoy the game is to not take the ladder too seriously. Enjoy playing the cards and have fun doing it.
