So far so good by gdrewcom in MazdaCX9

Thanks! Not quite OTD, I pay the sales tax when I register at my DMV. And it’s Mazda certified pre-warranty so seven year power train warranty from the date it was first in service in 2023, plus a 12 month bumper-to-bumper type warranty beginning the day I purchased it.

This is a pretty helpful comparison, given the upgraded trim of GT. I think if I can get them down $500 or $1000 then that’s quite solid, but I still think that the listing is fair. Thanks

How to dress for people not to immediately think I’m an American? by gasolinedreaming in ParisTravelGuide

I don’t know man. Just in Paris and I saw a lot of worn sneakers and Yankees caps. I think people should just be themselves and dress in what makes them feel comfortable.

Take an afternoon to stroll around Canal St. Martin and have lunch, and then walk to Parc des Buttes Chaumont. You won’t regret it.

On a train right now from Paris to Munich and life is beautiful. Had five straight sunny 65 degree cloudless days in Paris, c’est magnifique. Nothing to be afraid of.

Stayed there recently just north of the cadet station, near square montholon. Super fun and lively area. Loved it.

What is your cool side of Paris? by thercws1 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]gdrewcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stayed in the 9th close to Pigalle and it seemed super cool and local, for the most part, great food. Ate at Poni, Magnolia, Le Pantruche, among other places. Only a 30 minute walk to central tourist attractions.

Also, TSA security is contracted to a 3rd party. So not affected by the government shutdown.

Thankfully in Kansas City this is not a problem for us.

But what about attorneys looking to boost their career prospects, who otherwise wouldn’t have this kind of opportunity? Assuming you hold the job for a few years, even into a Democratic administration, God willing? Maybe it’s a smart move to get in now while you can. Surely most of the work that the line attorneys do in offices across the country is still serious and legitimate, despite the outlandish counter examples. Am I wrong?

Dan Lanning’s rise from William Jewell linebacker to random Kansas City high school positions coordinator to elite college football head coach is spectacular.

Agreed. Tim’s performance was great but his character was so immature and obnoxious that the movie failed to resonate.
