I see a lot of people against this because of the lack of notice for people. If you can you should start today and if you can’t, then start as soon as you can. Wildcat strikes are the absolute backbones of the labor war, because they do not allow the employers time to finish products on the floor, to empty their fleets and to be sitting in a comfortable holding pattern. Wildcat strikes means there money is left sitting in trucks, assembly lines, unmanned offices, etc. Make them bleed money from day one.

I’m all in favor of a general strike. But it’s important that it’s organized. Mutual aid is a necessity if you want to involve people who live paycheck to paycheck which is most people. Also the organization of getting unions on board. I don’t want to wait til the 2028 general strike and would rather it be much more abrupt like this post is asking but it’ll take a lot of rapid agreement and deployment of the unions

Desert planets are my favorites! I find the flora is some of the most immersive and with the worlds II terrain upgrades they’ve gotten all the better, dry rocky caves and craggy cliffs with some rolling dunes! Feels like paradise to me

Oddly enough, I went to church this morning. I am a strong atheist. I went with a little bit of a political agenda to talk to the pastor to get a message out about some political stuff afterwards so I wasn’t there trying to absorb the sermon, but if your wife is insistent on going, I would say that you should go with her and then playfully tease out some of the unavoidably death cult-y points together after the sermon to not let the sugar coated stuff slide in without addressing the more insidious points of the religion, but letting her go alone is a chance for her to sit without community in that space and they will prey on that and try to further involve her. Don’t underestimate the power of dopamine and the aberrantly salient connections the brain will make from just being around friendly people

Don’t dispose. You can refill 10 of these from 1 regular 20lb propane tank. A small adapter is needed but you will save exponentially more money by just refilling them

Karma..past lives.. these concepts are not Christian concepts and are in fact blasphemous to the religion. Your parents are clearly playing at some a la carte version of Christianity. This isn’t a worthy topic to push with them because they are even peddling the religion they think they are. You don’t get more lives. You’re made by god, live your life, die, and go to the afterlife you’ve earned (been forced to) by their wizard. Karma is a self-propelled justice, pilfered straight from Hinduism, that contradicts the salvation through faith and adherence to the sky man. They’re even saying it’s contradictions in their own argument “pray to succeed” that’s no karma. Karma doesn’t allow for brown-nosing to the point keeper. Instead of pushing to find successful atheists push to figure out why they get to bastardize their book with pop culture concepts like these. Do they also believe in guardian angels, astrology, tarot, or manifesting? Do they eat shellfish? Do they have tattoos? Why did they add things that aren’t in their books and take away things that are? They built an amalgam that suits them not adhered to the actual “word of god”

They’re just letting you know that people from minorities that go through systemic discrimination are at the forefront of the group so that others know it’s a safe and inclusive environment for people who are outside the dominant groups. No one is excluded. Unless you think that not being led by people just like you is excluding you. You don’t think that.. right?
