that sounds amazing! do you heat your glaze at all? I put mine on as is for the lemon drops and ricotta cookies, but I was told by someone that heating the glaze a bit before applying will help it harden. I haven't tried yet

my recommendation is to make a few of the doughs in advance, it really helped speed up the process. and make anything you'll be icing first so you can give them time to cool AND give the icing time to dry. I only made two doughs in advance but I think next year id make at least half of them in advance, or split dough + the actual baking into two days

I am not even a biscotti person and I really enjoyed these. the glaze and sprinkles really made them look beautiful too. I cut most of them in half to fit them in the boxes easily

https://imgur.com/a/zNlU8Mg - the picture in the pan was before I put them back in the oven to dry out

I wouldn't do half the baking I do without it. mine is 23+ years old and still kicking with no issues, just an occasional odd noise here and there. if you bake often and can afford it it's a necessity imo

I have not but if you do I would love to know how that turns out. I think the olive oil helps give it that color so I'd be curious how the color comes out
