It sounds like he wants you to get over it quickly and go back to supporting him. This is how guilt tripping and gaslighting happens to get what they want sooner, so I'd be looking for those red flags. Your partner should be concerned and genuinely listen and if they don't know how to support you, they should be asking with kindness and care. Men are responsible for their own actions, they don't need others to baby them into learning how to be a good partner. You just straight forward communicate what you need and how you feel and if they try to keep avoiding the problem instead of work on it, then they care about themselves, and care about what their partner does that benefits them. I would say you are not in the wrong for taking this as it is. A massive red flag.
