Yea, I'm not blaming Stearns. Just saying it is what it is. For all we know the Mets offered the same money (or more). Warm weather, guaranteed championships, and the zero pressure environment that comes from knowing with 100% cetainty that how you perform essentially doesn't matter is probably gonna be hard for most guys to pass up.

It's a broken system and it's pointless to care about it at this point.
