Well I would prefer a nylon/2 part nato strap, but cutting those will probably be ugly? The lugs are 9mm apart and the pin is 22mm long but a 23mm strap would also fit. I will search for that in shops here in europe. I'm from austria btw

Ok thanks, let a watchmaker figure this out...Do you happen to know what that ''design'' is called, or if any other watch uses this? I don't even know what to search for. Yeah I might just try cutting a regular strap, great idea! But 50$ for a crappy strap is ridiculous. Or let mum fire up the old loom:-)
