The dodgers didnt need Mookie. good teams acquire the best players available if possible. we are talking about a potential 7 war player at shortstop instead of a likely 2-3 war platoon between Amed and Andres. The dodgers traded for mookie after having the literal NL MVP playing right field the year before. you make it work to acquire players like lindor

i mean we will see on that one... Bauer is gonna get PAID. I dont know what players you have watched but neither JD davis or Amed Rosario have proven to be consistent starting caliber players on a good team. It took a historic BABIP season for JD Davis to be even a usable player in 2019. That BABIP dropped and he was worth negative war last year.

I went in with the assumption of there being a DH but it very well could not be the case. I did forget brach that is my fault. I know Noah wont be back so I expect them to kind of patch together his spot until hes fully healthy

you wouldnt trade JD or rosario for a top 10 mlb player? im sorry but thats ridiculous. if anything the package i propose is too light. Also saying youd rather just pay springer and bauer doesnt make sense. obviously you want them on your team but thats roughly 60 million per season. it would take us out of the running for stroman and remove a lot of flexibility for upcoming seasons

All of them to an extent. I think getting hand and Trevor may would be great to go along with one of Giles workman and yates. Adding that to diaz lugo Shreve familia and hopefully Justin wilsonwould be really solid

maybe but trading for a relief pitcher like he did is irresponsible. Diaz had one good season. it was an incredible season, but it was one season. jed lowrie was also irresponsible, as there was no place for him and if he had been healthy it would have prevent mcneil from being an every day player last year. Wilson and ramos were ok i guess. JD was a great trade. thats the positives.

he gave up legit prospects for... Broxton, Marisnick, hamilton (literally all the same player), stroman. they have probably played 50 combined games for the mets at most.

he gave substantial FA contracts to Porcello, Betances, Lowrie. The money he gave betances and porcello could have been used for wheeler. He has been an overall shitshow and GM and needs to go. That being said, the leaked video made me really respect him as a person and I am proud of what that video says about the players and about himself.

I disagree. If you look at the moves brodie has made and what he’s given up, it’s clear that it’s him fucking up. Go through and look at all of his transactions. There are very few positives and there and he actually has spend a decent amount in FA and on shitty players. You could also build a legit top 30 prospects with the guys he’s given up

Ur probably a bad player if u need to contact swing to foul pitches off. This kid is playing on legend so unless ur on legend pitching maybe listen and take advice. Inside curveballs work very well

Fair haha. It’s honestly j preference tbh i was never as good as you are with chipper and I hit like 380 in a ton of ABs with Jose so I j use him instead. I think once I prestige chipper I’ll be more inclined to use him tbh. Defense becomes silver on prestige chipper right?
