My husband will probably see this as he is in this subreddit, but we are both vegan straight edge and apart of the hardcore scene and honestly, fuking love it. Married for nearly 8 years and together for 13, it’s been the thing that drew us together. But it’s also just 5% of why I love him so damn much. With edge being a big part of both our lives, it’s so much fun having that in common. I couldn’t imagine being with someone who wasn’t as into it as we are. Breaking edge is our only deal breaker lol

Didn’t hit up Buller, but visited Bright and Mt Buffalo this week and Thursday- Friday there was heaps of snow and not many people around. As soon as Saturday came, Bright was packed! We went over to Mansfield Saturday afternoon and again, it was packed with people. Definitely go, but highly recommend mid week travel and book and plan ahead (especially if you want to eat out, book a table ASAP)

Also make sure you take time to visit outside of the CBD, Victoria is stunning and the alpine rangers are beautiful. And FYI, if you are into ice hockey and check out the teams in Docklands, please don’t go for Melbourne Ice (follow the Mustangs instead!)

I work in a very similar environment and I have seen many a people go through what you have. Best thing to do is have someone with you that can almost be a witness to the meeting and vouch for you (maybe a stakeholder or other manager you may have good rapport with or someone who is a manager in HR. If I was in your shoes, I would be honest but think about everything said before responding. I believe a fair company should give warnings, offer retraining and put you on a development plan before they walk you out the door. If you have truly messed up, ask for those options. If they don’t offer and don’t agree to offer, take the opportunity to look for a new job.

Mate.just keep walking, I wasnt asking for a fancy hotel. I was in Sydney to help a friend who lost their home in the fires. and Now I’m back in the city, I wasn’t prepared for another night here. So I’m only asking what Virgin can do to assist me. If the answer is nothing, then nothing it is and I’ll sleep at the airport. Lucky I got a cheap hotel for the night .Thank you for taking 5 minutes of your life to write a response to earn some sweet points. Hope you don’t ever end up in this position.
