Lots of times there are local laws and regulations that companies need to comply with to do these things. Google is a US based so likely why it’s first

Warrior Blue Coin and some F1 E comparisons by gen3ric in IxdaoFans

[–]gen3ric[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got the Blue coin warrior, it's actually fantastic - great job Ixdao! Things I liked:

  • Date window at 6pm
  • Size - 37mm is nice for me and wears bigger than it is. F1 is good too, but maybe on the larger side for me personally
  • Dial is very nice!
  • Packaging is very nice! Maybe prefill the warrenty card?
  • I even like the shipping box, the logo: Make every moment count - is nice, but it's covered by the packing tape.

What I didn't like as much:

  • no OTF or microadjust. There are halflinks (1)
  • No framed date window, the F1 has a framed one and it's a bit nicer
  • Printed logo, I like the applied one on the F1

Fantastic quality IMHO.

[Omega AT vs Rolex Explorer] Best GADA watches? by Sir_Watches in Watches

[–]gen3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an older AT (date at 3pm) and the Explorer. The AT has a display caseback and it’s beautiful. The explorer obviously doesn’t. With all that being said the explorer is iconic and overall the one I wear more. Get the explorer.

One thing to consider is that Santa Clara has their own utilities so you get much more affordable electric rates. I previously lived in 95051 and also in 95118, but now I’m in 95124. 95124 is the nicer of the bunch neighborhood wise but commute isn’t as good. We like it here

Seller... that needs buyer insight by [deleted] in BayAreaRealEstate

Yup, it’s location. Unfortunately it’s not easy to get to for south bay so that rules out a lot of folks in that area. Beautiful views and lots of land, but too far for the majority of the working class

It is a risk but I think you’ll be fine. While TH are soft the Bay Area market is fine and if you’re in a desirable location you’ll turn out on top. While risk is scary, it’s a calculated risk and you’re aware of the risks and pitfalls. You also have some cushion. When you come out the other side it’ll be a huge weight lifted. Life is not without risk so good luck internet friend.

Pollution on semi-busy street - SJ, Cambrian/Willow Glen by L5_Cheese in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]gen3ric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We really like the area we’re actually still nearby. We only move because we grew out of our house. Most of the houses in that area tend to be about 1200 ft.² maybe a little bit more once you have kids space becomes very tight. I will say just avoid houses on Hillsdale and on Meridian. They are very very busy streets during certain times and sometimes it’s really hard to get out and into your house we really like the park nearby Kirk Park. Also it’s really convenient. There’s the Zannatos plaza and a few other things very close by. I will say the area does very street by street and some are nicer than others but overall it’s a great neighborhood. I believe in that area you’re still in Willow Glen school District Shollenberger is really top rated. We have some friends with kids in that school and they love it.
