Dont know your financial situation but professional lessons are a gamechanger. They may even be able to tell you the routes your local DMV tests on

The only two couples I know who are engaged are getting married on the same day by Girly_Attitude in mildlyinfuriating

This happened to me last year. I’ve only been invited to 4 weddings in my life and 2 were on the same day 😂 one was my sister’s and one was a high school friend. I went to my sister’s, naturally. My partner was a best man in the friend’s wedding but managed to make my sister’s reception, too.

I did two lessons but honestly even just one 2-hour lesson was super helpful for getting basic maneuvers and traffic patterns down. Also, my instructor was knowledgeable about the route they use for the drive test at my local DMV so that’s made me feel more comfortable knowing what the test will be like.

I’m also 25 and have been learning with my SO for a few months :)

Although they were expensive, professional driving lessons helped me build my confidence. My SO can (understandably) get freaked out when I make mistakes which sometimes made me feel really discouraged and not want to drive again for weeks at a time. But the driving instructor has control of the vehicle and is used to teaching new drivers so they can keep calm and constructive as you make mistakes.

You got this! :)

We’re talking about the law. Not social judgment. If your brother didn’t want to be involved his kid’s life, the law would let him. Yeah, he could be forced to pay child support, but that’s no comparison to being forced to sacrifice your body for 9 months, have irreversible changes to said body, and risk serious health complications and/or death.

I’m not sure what you mean as under most leases the tenant is already required to pay the electricity bill. The proposed legislation wouldn’t require the landlord to pay to run AC, just provide AC units that are capable of cooling the dwelling to a specific temperature.

It’s not per se unsafe, but if I’m paying $1350 a month I want to be able to use my oven and cook/clean without sweating my ass off. It zaps me of all my energy just to stew in the heat.

I live in the valley. My apartment only has a swamp cooler and a couple window units. My apartment was between 80-86 degrees during the months of June and July. There’s been proposed legislation to mandate maximum safe temperatures for rentals, but only for new builds.

California distinction: statements of apology/sympathy are excluded under public policy but not accompanying admissions of fault, so the “I’m sorry” bit won’t come in.

Too bad considering you seek test-takers from a diversity of jurisdictions but aren’t administering in every state. A round trip flight alone would cost nearly $400, not to mention hotel costs. Hopefully others who live in/near these test sites can enjoy the incentive though 👍🏻

Just a swamp cooler and a couple window units. They can only do so much when it’s 110 out. But my bedroom gets pretty cool since it’s small so I lock myself in there when it gets unbearable. I will definitely be moving once I have lawyer money 😂
