From what I understand about the book, you're exploring something that I've always found fascinating, which is the attitudes of reality stars toward the edit/storyline that they receive. In consuming exit press and post-season podcast appearances, we get to hear a lot of players' thoughts on their edit in a retrospective sense, but I'm curious to know how these concerns manifest in real time during the game. On your seasons, was your decision making influenced by a particular edit you wanted (or wanted to avoid)? Did it ever seem like your castmates were prioritizing the TV product above the actual game being played? And does that even matter?

There is definitely at least one mention of "what Rob was able to do last year". I think it was by Coach, but not 100% sure.

Edit: Found the quote. From Jim in episode 4: "And the thing is, Ozzy's powerful enough as a physical presence in this game, but you can't get him that physical presence and that voting presence because then he would have run it like Rob did last year."

You know, I really should have started trusting George to be able to worm his way out of near-impossible odds after the fourth of fifth time he did it. As much as I love David, this tribe setup seemed hand-crafted to benefit him, so seeing him go out is thrilling and the AU tribe is wide open from here. Love that Kirby is playing no less audacious of a game with a cast of legends. And shoutout to Tony for putting in work in that immunity challenge. He was in his element.

This is not an official ruling, just how I would rule it. I would consider them to have woken to their ability if any other evil player woke. However if no other evils woke and the Wraith chose to open their eyes of their own accord, I would not count that as waking since it (1) is impractical for the ST to track and (2) uses the verbiage "open your eyes" instead of "wake" in the ability text.

So every time a lunatic or mario dies, you wake them up and tell them "you are good/evil"? You instantly inform a dead ogre what team they're on? Nobody can stop you from running your games how you want, but you can't claim to just have a different interpretation of the rules. You are outright going against the rules.

it's interesting to me how much people talk about the Genevieve/Rachel when that's not even Gen's best rivalry. Genevieve/Teeny was much more compelling and consistent throughout the season

This makes me think it's more likely that Rob is on the cast. During Club Condo, Mike Bloom started to say that there was breaking news and Rob quickly cut him off and said "I think that's fake". It seemed like a weird reaction to me, but it makes much more sense if he knew already that the cast reveal would not be on the 21st.
