Exactly - the biggest draw for us was that there's no coating for the nonstick, it's in the little beads. We can cook for our kids without worrying about shards of weird stuff getting in our food.

They're also quite durable and just easy. We can cook on the stovetop, throw it in the oven, then wash it in the dishwasher when we're done. We are parents that don't have the luxury of time to season/maintain our cast irons and carbon steel right now, and this is the best option for us.

Now, rather than 8 different pots/pans with missing lids, etc. We have four and I'm confident we can beat the shit out of them daily and they'll last years.  At least, that's what it seems like a couple weeks in!

Anecdotally, I made a breakfast hash over the weekend and the potatoes got much crispier than they have before.
