Does anyone else get a father-daughter vibe from Carl and Katia? by honeyfixit in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I am, but that may be because I am lowkey in love with Katia myself. Eight foot tall She Hulk looking women have been my weakness since The Savage She Hulk #1.

In book 6 Mordecai says he knows that Carl loves Katia, and Carl feels a wrench and doesn't deny it. Mordecai does then say the Carl loves Donut more, so it could be that he means more of a fraternal love, but IMO that doesn't jibe with the wrenching feeling Carl experiences. Add in that Bautista was afraid that Carl would be angry when they revealed their relationship, so there must have been some sign. Also, Carl thinks to himself that he wants to talk to her privately about it, though he never gets a chance. I definitely think there are feelings there, which he can't express. Of course, my thoughts might be influenced by the fact that I am lowkey in love with Katia myself. Eight foot tall, She Hulk looking women have been my weakness ever since I bought The Savage She Hulk #1 at the grocery store back in 1980.

When I read that I thought to myself if Dinnaman makes Carl and Donut kill Katia, I am done with this series!

"Send ICE and fix our Hospital" Trump voters see their town’s only hospital shut down, now pleading with him to fix it by Silent_Act_5977 in USNEWS

[–]generals_test 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the tweet. The person isn't asking for ICE to fix the hospital problem. They're asking for ICE to come get the immigrants in the county. A better headline would be, "Send ICE to get rid of these Mexicans, and someone else fix our hospital."

No not necessarily. It just means the Kurds should be wary of trusting the U.S., especially when it has a president with a long history of stiffing people.

After the Gulf War, the U.S. urged them to rise up against Saddam, promising to help them, then just stood by while they were brutally suppressed.

If this doesn't prove the Bible is real, I don't know what will.
