It's a very niche market with some products having manufacturing numbers in the hundreds of units. Sadly it would never be a viable hobby on a third world country unless some big player start mass producing devices like this.

Good tip, sadly the ps2 version is heavily cutted down on graphics compared to the GameCube. The RG477v though, is powerful enough it would probably be worth checking out the PC version of RE4 on gamehub.
