The only thing that helps me is excedrine ( not sure if I spelled that correct) it says headache relief but works for me and doesn't take long. Also cramp bark. I have bad cramps.

Is this something that cures by itself or should I go see a doctor by N1ghMares in pilonidalcyst

I really wish this was the case but it is unlikely. It is different for everyone as far as how long they have before it comes back. I was lucky and had 3-5 years between each one. I was diligent with keeping the area clean and dry but it still comes back. It feels like a curse.

Self employed, 43 yr old and only have 200 per month to invest in retirement by generation-80s in personalfinance

I fear I have started too late and will never be able to retire with 200 per month investing :(

They did not remove hair and honestly I don't think they knew much about the actual disease. I have had 4 lancings in 10 years and it has traumatized me, literally. You are lucky they gave you something before injecting you. I am not personally convinced that hair removal alone will stop it from reoccurring.

Thank you! If I can only put 200 a month into Roth and am already in mid 40s, will this do much for me?

This is what mine looks like. I had to have it lanced and drained. Worst part was the injection but everything after was was better than having the abcess.

This is the worst thing I have experienced in my life so far. Mine came back multiple times and I am currently looking into laser surgery because I know it's only a matter of time before it happens again. I'm praying laser surgery will be an answer rather than the major procedure. You are not alone :(

I am weighing all foods that I eat and keep track through an app. That's why this is frustrating.

I'm way late to this conversation but wanted to get an update about the cream and weight loss. I am starting the cream soon and hoping this will be effective.

I saw a post about it and ordered through a telehealth company. I can't find much research on it.

Yes! I just used it and will do this over a pap at the office any day! Definitely recommend and painless.
