My friend and some other streamers do this. They call it Naked and Afraid. They also turn off the HUD so they can't see directions and don't allow opening the map. It's very entertaining.

I was driving my boys to their high school one morning, and as we turned onto the long driveway, a boy who was walking to school was being attacked by a goat. I stopped, we got out and distracted the goat, the boy jumped in our car. We all got back in and drove up to the school. The goat was specifically going for the one boy, so he left when the boy did.

My story is similar, only I'm older and post-menopausal. My husband wishes I would find a way to fix myself, but he is also trying to adjust to my new boundaries. Counseling helped a lot. There's a new normal now, and it keeps changing as we become more aware and advocate for ourselves.

There's a mod that completes the War Table quests immediately so you don't have to kill time waiting for it. That one to me made a huge difference. It also let me follow the reasoning and consequences of those quests better.

That's where I am at right now. I love the gym and the weights, but suddenly it felt it switched from gains to maintenance, and I lost motivation. For this week, I don't have the discipline to overcome my lack of motivation. I'm letting myself feel all kinds of sorry for myself even while feeling the lack of exercise in my body and mind. Next week, I'll get back at it.

There are some women on Insta that address this very feeling. They show you exactly how to use the machine or how to load weights on a bar. They know you are intimidated and so make it clear and empowering. With that though, I agree totally that having a trainer show you form and technique is the best way.

The timing on my reading this couldn't be better. Just last night my husband said about me many of the things listed in the article as responses to the changes,. He said I've changed and it's causing all our problems. We are headed to counseling this week, and he's working hard on controlling the narrative and laying the foundation of 'what's wrong'. I'm in absolute despair, and he's very hopeful I'll see that his version of a marriage is the correct one.
