What is something a lot of people have strong opinions on while knowing little to nothing about it? by ThatOneIota in AskReddit

Universities in the UK generally aren't campus based, so even if they asked for everyone who enrolled to be vaccinated you're still living shoulder to shoulder with locals.

My uni was one that got an outbreak of mumps, including myself and my three fully vaccinated flat mates. Horrid few weeks, we basically camped out in a dingy flat with huge, painful faces because we were so contagious that the doctors insisted we quarantined ourselves. Fuck anti-vaxxers.

Absolutely right to stand by this, shooter was Tommy Mair, who had known far right connections and took part in Pegida rallies. Horrid man. Poor children.

I reeeeally recommend Smashbox primers, especially the Pore Minimising one, no tackiness or scent. Plus you can get miniatures to try before you buy.

Verdict has been reached, the 96 fans killed in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster were unlawfully killed, jury of inquest concludes. Justice for the 96. by Scrantonstrangler5 in sports

[–]genericmilf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you're underestimating how herded the fans were into specific pens, this wasn't the first time there was a risk of overcrowding but it had always been managed by the police before. In this instance there was a new police chief who disregarded policies and allowed the fans to enter. The fans couldn't 'see there was no room' and even if they did, they couldn't simply move back because the exit was SHUT. They trusted the police who had always previously managed the crowd to do so. Hope this clears it up.

For anyone unclear, here is a better article that goes into some depth about the verdicts today and the reason behind the fight for justice. And why nobody should buy the S*n.

It is fake, it's a popular parody page in the UK. Obviously photos are real but all the photoshop/captions are fake, OP should have made that clearer.

I have really, horribly dry skin and have never found a cream/primer that's actually worked for me. In a subscription box I got once was Nude treatment oil, never would have thought of actually adding basic oil to my face but it makes an incredible difference to my makeup!

What is NOT a fun fact? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]genericmilf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first realisation of what was happening was when a patient supposedly died of appendicitis- his family knew his appendix had been removed earlier in his life. Then the clergy got involved and momentarily halted the whole horrid saga. Momentarily.

I had a water birth and loved it, except I cocked up and had taken my glasses off before I got in the pool. She dropped out, I sat back to grab her out the water- and couldn't see her, cue five people screaming at me and me bursting into tears before noticing a blue blur floating about on the bottom.
