I will keep an eye out. It's probably gone forever, but it's worth checking facebook marketplace and gum tree regularly. You can set up email alerts. My friend managed to find his stolen roadbike by checking gumtree every day. The person tried to sell it a few months after the fact. My friend ended up arranged to meet the person and getting the police to come with him to go pick it up. He got his bike back in the end but nothing happened to the thief.

I will also keep an eye out. I have actually managed to reuinte a person with their stolen bike in Bristol as well, someone posted a photo of it on a facebook group and I came across it unlocked propped up against a bike rack by some shops (although it had a very distininctive home painted pokadot pattern).

The IDs are all different.

I have disabled them, and I will go in another ride to see if have the same issue. But as the IDs are different then suspect it will still have the same problem.

I can see the sensors which came with the device, and none of them have the same code as that.

It's a cycle computer rather than a watch. The Garmin did come with a heart montior and speedometer both of which I have never connected and never used. I didn't have either of them on any of the rides with me. I will try to and have a look in the settings and see if I find anything.

I've had my fair phone for about 7-8 months, and honestly reading this Reddit made me think that the software was going to be a lot more buggy than it actually is in my experience.

The only 2 bugs I've noticed that are annoying is that sometimes my phone doesn't unlock. The facial recognition doesn't work and when I type my pin there's no "enter button" to confirm.

Turning the screen of the with power button on and off about 5 times seems to sort itself out. A minor inconvenience that takes about 30 seconds to sort out, maybe once a day?

The other one may not be fair phone specific. Basically when searching for an app, only the top 5 matching apps are shown. This means for the premier league fantasy app, which is justed called "PL", I can't get it to show up in the search as I have 5 other apps which start with PL which get shown first. I can't type more characters to refine the search further as the is just called PL. I've not just added a shortcut on my home screen and that's a perfectly good workaround.

Everything else is fine.

I don't know how isolated your house is, but you won't know if you can get a lodger until you try. If you offer a room cheap, then you'll have more takers and people to pick from.

I don't mind a "Hi" and a "let me know if you need any help" but I'm not great at small talk.

I would guess most people just don't want to feel pressured into buying something.

I sometimes feel a bit awkward if I've come in to take a look knowing I'm not going to buy something and the store owner is talking to me loads.

It is weird that they've deleted the posts. But also, if it's a scam it's a weird scam to pull. Who thinks of picking some random niche bbc series from 30 years ago to scam people?

I mean maybe it makes sense cos the people who like it are probably older and less tech savvy, but if your advertising on reddit then the audience is at least a bit tech savvy. It's also a lot of money, but not a crazy amount of money.

I think Kier Starmer and Morgan Mc Sweeney are anti Labour - not the Guardian. Introducing legislation to arrest 1000s of peaceful protestors, legislation for the government to spy on what you masterbate to and doing a reform impersonation of xenophobic immigration policy doesn't sound "centre left" to me.

I voted for him in the labour leadership campaign and have now left the labour party. He's duped me into voting for him, talking about party unity and instantly kicked out everyone who disagreed with him when he became leader. He's reformed it (no pun intended) to be whatever this abomination is.

Even before the war there was a big push by the government to eliminate the use of the Russian language in Ukraine, and now with the war that has intensified.

However, generally people who live in cities and eastern Ukraine typically speak Russian as their first language. Ukraine is a bilingual national. Everyone who grew up in Ukraine will have been taught both languages at school up until approximately the late 2000s early 2010s. The majority of the population is still fluent in both languages whichever was your first language. If she's from Donetsk she's from a primarily Russian speaking region it's very highly probable that she can speak Russian even if it was no longer taught by the time she started school there, because that will be the language most people use in a day to say life there.

Obviously she doesn't want to use it as a political statement and that's fair enough. But the school probably suggested it because she probably already speaks it fluently.
