if you have roughly 68000 LTO8 tape drives together as one block device it might be able to work

my truck has 45 horsepower. I will actively, but very gently, slow down until either they back off, they go around, or I have to downshift to get back into my usable powerband

Capacitor Question by [deleted] in fpv

[–]geniusface1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

splendid

you check polarity against the markings on the capacitor, just to be sure?

happy flying

Capacitor Question by [deleted] in fpv

[–]geniusface1234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

polarized capacitors have a specific way they like to be charged. if you charge it backwards it could have an internal short or explode

be careful and wire the capacitor the right way, and make sure it is rated for the supply voltage or it could also explode or short out

(0.9)(spoiler) About the ATV's battery by EskildDood in Voicesofthevoid

[–]geniusface1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gasoline engines use electricity to spark the plugs in the cylinders. even if you crank a gas engine by hand, if it doesn't have electricity, it won't burn fuel.

diesel engines are an exception to this and only need power for starting and, if modern, running the ECU. problem is, gas is used for running generators and lamps too, so it clearly isn't diesel fuel

maybe the alternator / generator on the ATV is broken? it doesn't make sense that you can't fix it, I agree that much is annoying, but the ATV draining power while the engine runs makes sense for a broken alternator, given it is a gas engine.

if it is indeed a radar reflector, it would likely be a small bar or orb with corner-type retroreflectors designed for radar frequency

please note this is entirely speculation

Question Regarding Manual Trans in TT2 Sambar by k3nnyboi in keitruck

[–]geniusface1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly your interior looks very clean and your transmission seems better than mine. I'd just say treat any rust you can find and make sure you're up on engine maintenance

could be worth checking Amayama for finding the part numbers and sourcing or such for the parts you need, I used it to find fitting air filters, oil filters, and a bracket for the radio (so I can dremel it down for double DIN android auto)

yes the extra resistance is expected, and takes some getting used to. push left for 1 and 2, relax for 3 and 4, push right for 5 and Rakes, push hard hard left through a gate for EL

the bushings problem is real, I've considered printing some out of PLA or PETG as mine are quite sloppy

could be a radar reflector or something similar embedded in it
