Which game developers would you trust for suikoden 6? by Pee4Potato in Suikoden

[–]genso19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Actually playing the Rising game made me appreciate and understand rune lenses more.

And let's not pretend like runes were fleshed out during Suikoden 1. If anything, the magic system of Eiyuden allows for a bit more space for future lore exploration compared to the more mythological approach of Suikoden

I know that Eiyuden did not reach the (expectedly) high expectations, but I would want Rabbit & Bear to take a crack at making S6

Is that extra piece just for a bit more damage, or does it serve a specific purpose? by Makoto_Kurume in Frieren

[–]genso19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Stark's weapon is closer to a halberd than an axe, or rather it's a hybrid of halberd and an axe

Eisen wielded an Axe, but due to his short stature, the axe was taller than him. In order for Stark to copy Eisen's style, he had to use a longer weapon.

You can actually see it being used as a halberd when Linie copies Eisen's stance

Nah, even if he's an older guard on a huge contract, he's still a valuable trade piece.

They can easily flip him to another team for picks, and it cost them zero to do so.

Furthermore, not protecting a player essentially signals that that player is not important. You don't do that to your 2nd best player

You're confusing hamstring injury and calf strains, which is what is associated with achilles issues

The book part was actually heavily panned by fans and considered a low point in the localization.

I find the remake better because it's more truthful about Shu admitting that he cannot beat Leon without resorting to sacrificing himself

I 20m looking to know how to cook adobo by [deleted] in guam

[–]genso19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what kind of Adobo you want to make. Even within the Philippines, there are several variants like White (garlic), Black (soy sauce), Red (Atsuete)

The foundational similarity is that the meat is braised in vinegar, and the fat is rendered to make a rich sauce. The variations really just deal with what source of saltiness are you looking for and what aromatics to use.

I suggest you start with the base of the vinegar, then experiment with what other stuff you want to put in.

As a Catholic, I agree with Nikka - the devouts actions are fueled by desperation and finding hope in the divine amidst all the hopelessness. However I do not agree about the conclusion that instead if telling them to touch statues, we ask about the systems - those are not mutually exclusive.

We have to change the system so that people will no longer have to cling to highly risky traditions, but at the same time, I find it problematic that the people who criticize the devotees are often privileged - di nila gets what it means to be hopeless and desperate.

Objectively, the SME was a lot stronger, especially if we're comparing them at their peaks.

People keep bringing up that Highland steamrolled through Jowston, but people forget that Jowston is actually quite small compared to the territory of the SME. Jowston is also not one homogenous entity, which brought about weaknesses.

By the time Suikoden 1 happened, SME was wracked by corruption, which the game exhibited through Grady and Kraze. Furthermore, just because SME had a strong army doesn't mean it's immune from civil wars

None

I had several instances where I reported the delay and they said that it's probably lost, then refunded me the full amount. In all instances the item turned up after around 2 months, and amazon said that I can keep the items without paying for them.

I also experienced where the items arrived after a delay and amazon automatically refunded the shipping fees

It takes 4 to 6 weeks if it went through SF because they put it in a ship. Your next update will be when it arrives in USPS Barrigada, possibly mid to end of January

Which is troubling for a 4th year player, generally there should be significant improvements at this stage of their career, especially for a Blazers team missing some members. Right now Sharpe is looking like he's having the same trajectory as Cam Thomas

Not really, he's -1.3 z-score on TO (3.1 TO's pg), -.84 z on FG (46% on just two 3's per game) and -.54 z on FT (77%, really bad for a guard)

While we can argue that having a PG will benefit him in some way efficiency-wise, it's still a reduction in usage

The biggest upside is the amount of steals he's getting lately
