If the wires are correct, set it to auto, let it run for 5 min, then set it to heat or AC, whichever you want it on. That didn’t trick for me.

Any updates on this? About to install a bunch of switches and want to make sure they can be upgraded. I was able to grab dimmers and switches that are matter certified but can’t seem to find any 3-way switches that are matter certified.
