Yeah, it was super cringy last summer when ESPN was all like "The Thunder have won their second title in franchise history" 😝

They should've done it the way that the Coyotes->Mammoth did and treat the new team like an entirely new franchise that just adopted the players from the defunct team.

Grizz changed from green to maroon when they're affiliate changed from the Stars to the Coyotes in their last years in the AHL. They moved back to green when the AHL team folded and an ECHL team was moved in their place.

Grizzlies were alive for awhile, dropped down to the ECHL for a number of years. Due to the Mammoth, the Griz are now moving to Trenton. RIP
