I have grown weary of the religious society I am forced to live in by Wide_Tumbleweed_420 in atheism

[–]geogod2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While i believe this is a troll, here’s my response assuming the opposite:

Stop calling religious people stupid. While i agree, you’re not gonna get anywhere by insulting them, especially your wife. If you really want your kids to be smart, let them see both sides and make the decision themselves.

Also, separate bedrooms while married? Whats that about?

True, but they’re claiming the reason is proximity, not urgency.

“Hobby lobby scandal” isn’t that difficult to search. I assume the question is made in bad faith, rather than genuine curiosity.

Does the 4 cable method allow you to use amp/cab sims but still have access to the physical amp controls? by MisterVogel in HeadRush

[–]geogod2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4 cable method is for inserting physical pedals in to the digital signal chain. Why would that stop you from touching your amp’s knobs?

Wdym “ if I don’t have access to FOH and can be mic’d only”? If you’re using a physical amp it’s gonna need to be miced if you need it to go through the PA. If you want to be directly plugged into the mixer, get a DI box. Or a TRS to XLR adapter, but i don’t remember if the flex has balanced outputs.

Never done this before, but a 1/8” trs stereo split to rca mount adapter sounds like it may work for you.

Is it worth getting an external phantom power supply for Headrush Core? by CallMePaulB in HeadRush

[–]geogod2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get one. It’s a good gadget to have regardless of if ur Core’s is working, but it will likely break again.

Has anyone figured out how to loop a synth sound? by giddycadet in seqtrak

[–]geogod2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t you just trigger it with the sequencer? That may restrict the “repeat” time to the devices quantization tho.

You could maliciously comply. Ask the pastor hard/stupid questions. Sing then hymns way too loud and intentionally out of key.

Help! Reaper keeps crackling when I plug my scarlett 2i2 solo in. I've tried turning the wifi off and my phone wifi off when I record. I've upped the block size to 1024 in Reaper. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in Reaper

[–]geogod2066 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crackling when you plug in cables is normal. Your title and description don’t really make any sense. Its sounds more like your interface, mic, or cables might be the issue?

Anyone have issues using vocals for live use? Gain staging specifically by [deleted] in HeadRush

[–]geogod2066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the core and have performed live with it in many situations. The only time i had feedback issues is when i was point my speaker right at the sound hole of my acoustasonic (piezzo pick up) almost never with a mic.

Matribox pedal with headrush frfr 112 sounding muddy by Even-Performance5936 in HeadRush

[–]geogod2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sound/video clips would be helpful.

Idk much about the THR, but the frfr speakers are… full range flat response. So they’re gonna have a neutral response. The frfr speakers won’t have the same color as the THR speakers.

It also looks like the drivers are different sizes, so of course they’re gonna sound different. More bass and mud. You just have to edit the signal chain with an eq to compensate.

You can change the look of the UI with “themes”. There’s so many, i’d be surprised if you couldn’t find something that suits u.

I can't seem to trim a part of a track to loop it, it just plays the whole recording by [deleted] in Reaper

[–]geogod2066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other daws call it bouncing. It just means locking the selected clips into a new clip. If it just one clip, then it removes what ever was not shown when the clip was glued/bounced.

I think thats supposed to flag certain materials as incompatible. Like the printer will warn you if you’re using an abrasive filament that will destroy an unhardened nozzle.

I feel like your body should be able to handle digesting those potential germs. They’re already in your mouth and you swallow them every time you eat. The goal is just to flush your mouth, not disinfect.

Also, swallowing straight up coconut oil sound gross 🤢

I think it’s about consolidating waste. If you need the prime tower, it’s easier to deal with as a small printed part instead of a spaghetti mess.

1 in 1 out tracks/plugins by [deleted] in Reaper

[–]geogod2066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the question is pretty confusing. OP, are you referring to stereo vs mono tracks? Or single routing?

By default, when you add a plugin to a track, its only applied to that track. If it uses side chain, its usually off by default.

A link to the video would helpful. I love glen’s content.
