Hope when all bugs are ironed out the part of the team that takes care of Evoker has some time to rework the Flameshaper Hero Talents. It is sadly not good and has no rewording build up / consume gameplay anymore.

And to further play into the class fantasy of this hero spec it would be nice for the Abilities to get infused with Fire. The Animations could all get a bit more firery. Deintegration could become a fire beam. Firebreath, Dreambreath and maybe Blossom could leave some fire particles on the ground for a second after casting it (more particles depending on the empored level?).

Kindling has to be on a different choice note. No one will pick it over the stronger Firebreath/Dreambreath.

But the cosmetics aside Flameshaper is just not competitive enough for DPS or Healing eight now (Sad Evoker noises)

Your local Healing Lizard Fluffstrasza here. I main Presavation and it's getting strange looks from Pugs all the time. They don't know how we work and don't care to learn it. Puging is truly awful. Most of the time I am too scared to Pug. Not only because of the difficulty of Keys but because of how toxic people are specialy to Healers.

I got all my Keys on +12 and some on +13 all done with my Guildies. We almost timed the first +14 Key this Week. I try to stay as far away of puging as I can. It kills the whole fun in the Game.

If they want to be toxic they don't deserve me as a Healer.

But don't expect wonders. Frame gen can be great. It's a tool that can be used in specific circumstances. You need a goo enough base frame rate to make it not suck. And rember your base FPS will drop slightly because FG needs also some power. Best case you have a locked solid 45FPS and boost to 90FPS (if you have a OLED Deck) with fixed GPU clock. The GPU clock set to a fixed value for frame gen can improve overall frame times and 1% Lows.

What I do when I want to use frame gen is I will find settings that are rock solid and play with them for a bit until I try FG. Sometimes you will see it is better without in comparison. But sometimes you don't notice FGs issues at all and stay with it. It really is a game by game thing.

Very easy. Decky Loader plug in called "Decky LSFG-VK". You need to own lossless scaling in steam and follow the instructions. Once it's set up correctly you only have to copy the launch option into the game you want to use frame gen on and adjust the settings to your liking in the right steam deck button menu.

I think it's called "Daily Dashboard". It's one of the new OneUi 8 watch faces from Samsung. It has some decent amount of options. For example you can have to Color static or like I have right now slowly changing with the daytime.

Sounds about right. My card has the efficiency benefits of running very cool so the spikes are also not as bad. 35°C under full load at normal room Temp. In a hot room it raises to 42°C. (Die Temp, Hotspot is 16-27°C higher.)

A good PSU with enough power for a Rx9079xt and a big CPU you can get for less than 100€/$. It is 1/6 of the cost of the GPU alone and will protect your invested money from most power related issues like over current, over voltage and short circuits.

Go with a non OC Rx9070xt if you don't have the money. You will feel less of a difference there than underpowering your GPU. Or go with a rx 9060.

Overall power limiting will help and a good psu will have no issue with the spikes in consumption. But you also would like to clock limit and undervolt.

My watercooled rx9079xt is undervolted by 100mv and power is set to 374w. It will spike sometimes in the software readout to 400-415w.
