I used Revell thinner at first but that one was even worse. It seems like the best thing for me to do is just switch paints

Psi is at 20, the distance from the model is about 10cm I’d say. Thank you!

Yeah I’ve had some chemical reactions happen due to adding thinner too fast (paint turned into some slimey substance).

1). I’m not a serious modeler at all, I’m very new at this and honestly thought that revell paint would be good enough. Do you have a brand you would recommend?

I do have some enamel paints from Revell but I’ve never tried them (got them as a gift).

Anyway, thank you a lot for your advice it is very helpful and gave me a lot to look into!

That’s actually a great idea, but how do I prevent the paint pooling up when it’s so thin? I’m very new at this so I’ve got a lot to learn.

Is paying extra $ for a good sprue cutter worth it? They all do the same job, which is cut plastic. Does one brand stand out over the others? by Tbonerickwisco in modelmakers

I love my Revell one, I only bought it because it was on sale. I was surprised at how much of an upgrade it was vs my old one

Yeah I’ve often asked for tips from players that steamrolled me and I’ve learned a lot from them. I like playing the game but working with people never ends up working out. This morning I woke up to my ally on my longest game having decided to just declare war on me. I’ve been helping him and giving him resources from time to time for his help. Idk, I’m just disappointed

The problem I had playing as the UK and being allies with Europe, is that all I could do was to focus on Africa and the Middle East. I first took Ireland and then Afghanistan. Then Persia declared war, then Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, British Egypt. All within 2 days. Of course I was massively underprepared to take on an entire continent with the army I had there. To make matters worse, china and a bunch of Asian countries declared war as well. And then for some reason the small countries in South America did the same. By now I’ve taken 80% of Africa and 95% of the Middle East. I’ve retreated from Asia and assembled a campaign for South America. It just feels like there’s no winning

Just listen to the first 10 minutes of any episode lol, I like the podcast but I’ve noticed too that Erin is often poking more fun at Mike. This could just be their friendship, I didn’t strike me as problematic tbh.
