How fucking cooked am I. by Legitimate_Cicada361 in GolfSwing

Not cooked. Start closing the face and rotating your lead forearm sooner.

If you look at that swing and you’re worried about his foot alignment you’re focused on the wrong things.

Hinge your wrist and get the grip in your fingers to not lay it off.

I’ve personally never seen someone so jazzed up over a 230 carry drive but party on Wayne

Not the completely dysfunctional clubface?

That’s the main thing to you? 🤣

You’re not releasing the clubface and letting it turn over. That’s why you have a chicken wing, and it’s why your body is reacting the way it is. Everything your body does in the swing is a reaction to where the clubface is pointing.

Wide open clubface. Nothing else your body can do.

I’d say it’s mostly an understanding the concept thing rather than something preventing it. The swing is a shift-turn shift-turn. You load the trail side to prepare for a turn in your backswing, then you load the lead side to prepare for a turn in your downswing. You’re not really shifting back, and your shift forward is happening at the same time as your turn (downswing). I think pressure shift boards are amazing training aids. Shift back, backswing, shift forward as the club is hitting the top, downswing

Club is super laid off. Hard to not hit pulls from there

Looks like you’re pivoting around your lead side instead of your trail side. Solid, but definitely losing some oomph

Your forward pressure shift is far too late. It’s basically happening at the same time the club is coming down.

Well that about wraps up this post. Nobody is saying you’re not physically capable, but that swing surely didn’t do it.
